Refining Morning Routine
Posted by Pyrrh on December 3rd, 2009
I thought it was time to ramp up my activity level back to what it should be. As my schedule gets more refined and I get more rooms decluttered and completed, it should free up more time to do things, including exercise. It is always easier to keep up than to catch up! I want to get back to my hour-long morning workouts. I’ve gotten my morning routine down pretty well; with pre-planned breakfasts it is getting even easier. As long as I get up on time, I can manage 45 minutes, and I think I’ll be able to expand that to an hour pretty soon. (Everything has to be done by 9am and I don’t really want to get up any earlier!) I know it is only the first week, but I’m really motivated by the early weight loss I’m seeing.
Here is my morning schedule:
6:00 AM Wake up, personal scripture study, journal, update blogs, personal email, review upcoming day
7:00 AM Get dressed (workout clothes), wake Dot up, make breakfast, take vitamins, start laundry load, put clean dishes away, prep milk bottles, make bed
8:00 AM Reboot laundry (Dot helps), brush teeth, floss, weight, clean litterbox (push the button), Dot shapes (identification game and Shape-O Toy)
8:15 – 9:00 AM Exercise!
