Ready for the New Year

I’m setting a weight goal for 2 pounds lost per week, or a total of 40 pounds once my 20 weeks is up and I start trying for baby #2! I weighed in tonight on the WiiFit and I am down to 171.5! Mom and I will be tracking food this week and starting the diet the week after. I’ve changed my start day to Monday as well as my menu plan, to coincide with the family calendar. I like to get my fresh produce and meat at Publix, anyway, and I do that on Mondays. Everything else can wait until Wednesday when we go to Kroger and get the senior discount. I’ll try to make the menu a week ahead just to be safe, though. I also found out I should be drinking 4 bottles of water a day instead of 3, even if I’m not nursing. That is, one ounce of water per 2 pounds of weight. So I’m going to try to drink 4 bottles of water plus 8oz of milk a day.
